Moreover, this event attended a big number of people, which exceeded 350.

Regarding the special guests, they were Emirati officials, such as ambassadors, members of the Spanish community and Expo officials, representatives of Spanish companies, and members of the Spanish Business Council.

Activities and shows. Guests’ affirmations

The Deputy Commissioner General of the Spain Pavilion welcomed the Spanish community and the guests. In addition, he encourages people to enjoy over 100 performances during the next six months.

Bueno said: “During the Expo, the Spain Pavilion has organized a very rich cultural and specialized program of activities and events. This program opened with the flamenco singer Miguel Poveda, and currently, the musical group Artefactum is playing in different venues of the Expo”.

The Spanish ambassador is very glad for the Spanish contribution in several domains in UAE:

“I have found a wealth of Spanish involvement in the UAE, whether in business, science, research, public affairs, or culture. This makes us very proud and confident in the future of our presence here”.

The relationship between Spain and the UAE has been strengthened by respected Emirati institutions. Furthermore, this fact is recognized by the Government of Spain and the Spanish Embassy in Abu Dhabi.

All in all, Dubai became for Spain a great possibility to highlight its features. Likewise, the creation of Expo 2020 Dubai has been the “connecting element”.
